"We watched the Mamma Mia DVD a lot and decided to cancel our wedding venue in the UK to escape to Greece so that we could experience the wonderful church wedding and beach reception. Finding Ionian Weddings via the internet was the easy part, the hard part for us was trying to narrow down the wide range of options and ideas that Andreas gave us. Ian works away off shore for 6 months of the year and all of our bookings were completed via email. We really should meet you Andreas! The key element in all of our emails was for a fairytale wedding experience including a horse and carriage and I think Ian and I would have been very happy if we got just that....but we didn't! Andreas and the wonderful team in Zakynthos gave us so much more than we could ever have imagined and the hospitality of the Greek people is out of this world.
Imagine being married and upon leaving the Church to be met by young children on a school trip singing to you and rejoicing in your happiness. Imagine a private little cove of a beach with a jetty and the backdrops that you see only in adverts with no one there but yourselves and your guests. Imagine fairly lights that look like fireflies, candles of all different colours, shapes and sizes that mimic a midsummer night's dream. Now try to imagine that all of this was for you.
