Meet the Ionian Weddings team. We began as a humble husband-and-wife duo back in 2007 and over the years have expanded to a team of outstanding destination wedding designers and consultants. We all have a wealth of experience in weddings, a passion for our Mediterranean destinations and an ethos of going the extra mile. We can’t wait to work with you on your dream destination wedding.
Meet The Team
Pat
Team Manager
Pat has been with Ionian Weddings since 2018. Her favourite venue is the Mediterreanean garden.
She loves working with our team of planners and sharing our couples’ excitement for their special day. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, dancing to soca music and watching crime series, especially Colombo
Lucy
Wedding Consultant
Lucy is the person most of our couples will speak to first and been with Ionian Weddings since 2022. She finds our couples’ dream wedding destination and venue. Her favourite venue is the Hilltop Boutique venue in Sorrento.
Her five-year-old son is the light of her life and she loves travelling to the Amalfi Coast and all Italian cuisine – especially a fresh plate of prawn linguini.
Maria
Wedding Designer – Italy & Croatia
Maria joined Ionian Weddings in early 2019. Her favourite venue is the Tuscan Abbey & Farmhouse.
She loves planning beautiful weddings in our stunning Italy & Croatia venues and takes so much happiness from seeing the final results of her hard work in our couples’ wedding photos. She is obsessed with all things Italy, travelling from Lake Lugano to Puglia and everywhere in between. She spends her free time with her family and walking her two (Italian!) Bolognese dogs
Rachel
Wedding Designer – Greek Islands
Rachel has been with us since 2020. Her favourite venue is the Cretan farmhouse.
Rachel loves accompanying our couples on their wedding journey and working with our hospitable Greek suppliers. Her passions are travelling, in particular Italian countryside and Austrian mountains. In her free time she enjoys attending sporting events in particular rugby 7 football and live music events. She’s lucky enough to live close to the beach and enjoys beach bbqs and surfing with her two children.
Emma
Wedding Designer – Italy & Portugal
Emma’s favourite venue is the Algarve Olive Estate.
She thrives on curating a planning experience that is relaxed, enjoyable and stress-free, fully understanding that our couples have such busy lives. Outside work, Emma is a fitness fanatic with a speciality in strength training and enjoys extra-hot flat white coffees and Malbec wine.
Sarah
Wedding Designer – Greek Islands, Cyprus & Malta
Sarah’s favourite wedding venue is Paphos Hills in Cyprus.
Sarah is a real people person and her life passion is making dreams come true! From colour themes to choosing the first dance, Sarah loves personalising weddings by designing and creating different settings unique to each couple’s taste. Sarah relaxes with family time, Greek island holidays and a glass of rosé Laurent Perrier champagne.
Vicky
Wedding Designer – Greek Islands and Marketing Assistant
Vicky’s favourite wedding venue is Paradise Terrace, Santorini.
Vicky loves assisting with our couples’ special day and sharing the magic on our social media pages. She’s passionate about nature and landscape photography, capturing the beauty of the outdoors. When not behind the lens, you can find her enjoying country and pop music, as well as tunes from musicals.
Andreas
Co-Founder
Andreas founded Ionian Weddings with Jane in 2007. For more about their story click here. Andreas is proud to have witnessed their tiny family business blossom from a small Greek island wedding specialist to the leading Mediterranean wedding company in the UK. Outside of work, Andreas loves running and has completed 14 marathons to date. He also loves live music.
Jane
Co-Founder
Jane founded Ionian Weddings with Andreas in 2007. For more about their story click here. Jane loves nothing more than discovering new exciting wedding venues…..from initial research, to the all-important inspection visit and then seeing them become the backdrops to our couples’ special days. Jane starts her day with a cup of strong tea and likes to relax at the gym, in a yoga class or at a music festival.
