From beginning to end, Ionian Weddings have been amazing in helping to plan our perfect day in Rhodes. Our wedding was perfect! Special thanks to Gabi our planner, who we dealt with in the lead up to the wedding, constantly harrassing her almost on a daily basis towards the end. She was was a fantastic help with queries and also those additional touches that we wanted to organise, thank you for your patience. Barbara, our coordinator in Rhodes was also amazing, going above the usual duties of her job on the day for us too. We couldn't have done it without you. Thank you!!

What we can we say! We were absolutely blown away with our wedding day and Santorini in general! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner than Gabi! She is the most responsive person on email that I have ever dealt with, she was extremely helpful and understanding, and when we had problems due to Thomas Cook she have helped us out. Overall we are extremely happy with how our wedding went.

We booked through Ionian after looking online for a wedding package that felt intimate and provided a beautiful destination for us and our guests. Through the whole planning process our wedding planner Maria, was so helpful. We were able to tailor our wedding to suit us, and to make it more individual. At all times I felt relaxed and confident that what we wanted was able to become a reality. We had never been to our wedding venue which was cloisters and Hidden Hillside, and so when meeting our wedding co-ordinator there was a little nervousness, that all would be as we imagined. We met Claudia and she automatically made us feel that everything was in control. After viewing the venue and reception and talking through the finer details, we felt very relaxed, confident and so excited. Our day just went perfectly, we could not fault the organisation, the venues and their staff and the photographer. Our guests have all said they had the most fantastic time too. Thank you so much for helping us have our perfect day!

We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to your team, we will never forget it. Our planner has been extremely efficient and dedicated to her job, taking the time to talk to me outside of the usual 9-5, very committed even when on holiday. The local coordinator - perfection! Nothing was too much trouble the planning and organisation was out of this world!

We had the most amazing wedding day at Cavo Ventus, Santorini. From day one the planning process was laid back and stress free, and Kerry was a pleasure to work with - extremely friendly, helpful and nothing was too much bother. Always enjoyed speaking to Kerry who made the whole planning process easy. Sofia was very friendly and knew exactly what we had planned and made sure all details were correct. Elena who was at the villa throughout was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was second to none.

We got married on 23.09.2019 in the Cloisters and had our reception at Hidden Hillside Gem. We chose Gem based on pictures we were shown online and it really is as beautiful as those pictures. The view is amazing from this venue. We had canopies and drinks on the terrace overlooking the pond in the afternoon surrounded by beautiful scenery and Vesuvius in the background. It is the most perfect setting for a wedding and everything that we wanted. We had a pre-wedding meeting at the venue a few days before with Bernardo and we spoke about the layout and decorations we had brought with us. On the day, everything was exactly as we had imagined and even some extra decorations and flowers were included, which was lovely. Bernardo is such a lovely man and him and his team couldn't do enough for us and our guests. They were all very kind and happy to help with anything we requested on the night. The food was amazing too. Our guests were very happy with the 4 course menu we chose and it was all delicious. The waiters were really helpful and attentive, always topping up our drinks during dinner. A great service was provided by them and the barmen who even remembered what guests were drinking as they approached the bar.

Lizzie has been so so helpful throughout the whole process. I couldn't have wished for a better wedding planner! Lizzie spent months emailing us back and forth from booking in the original date in to getting the finer details in place for the day. Any questions we had were always answered quickly via email or on the phone and explained well. I knew i could email Lizzie even if it felt like a silly question and we would be put an ease with the response. We had a couple of meetings in the office too which was so nice to meet face to face and it made the planning feel more 'real' that we had the opportunity to meet as then its not just something online. She has such a lovely, kind, friendly and bubbly personality which really helped take away any stress from the planning stage. I felt she understood exactly what we were describing and what we wanted for our day and it turned out perfectly so we have you to thank! Thank you so much Lizzie. Claudia was our wedding planner in Sorrento. We had a meeting with her 3 days before our wedding and again as soon as we met her and started running through the day i knew we were in good hands. She really spoke in detail and the day and venue and answered all of our questions regarding exactly how the ceremony would be handled. Claudia was so friendly and kind. I really like the laid back (yet super professional!) attitude she had which made us feel so relaxed about the day. I didn't realise that although Claudia was our co-ordinator in Sorrento that she would actually be translating the ceremony. When we found this out i was really happy, we already knew someone there with us to calm our nerves! We were able to text Claudia with any last minute questions and even up to the morning of the wedding just to check in and make sure everyone was on time. I really appreciated everything she did for us with also translating exactly what we wanted in the florist and venue too. Thank you Claudia! Do not question Ionion weddings, they have been exceptional in planning my wedding from the start right the way through to our return home. We were married in Santorini and it was perfect, better than we could have hoped for and that was down to the service provided by Ionian.  Kerry has been an absolute star, she responds so quickly gets back with answers as soon as she can. Very professional and also very friendly. I don't think my experience would have been the same if it wasnt for Kerry. Always putting me at ease. She gave great advice. Kerry honestly has been amazing. Our coordinator was also fantastic, even our guests loved him. Put us at ease as soon as we met him, said we dont have to worry he will sort it and he did all that was requested and more. He exceeded our expectations and was very friendly. He kindly returned a phone directly to us left at the venue the next day. Always responded to our texts within minutes. Great guy.  Thank you Team x

Amazing stress free relaxed wedding - Just what we wanted. Our planner Gabi was very keen to help and resolve any issues, and the co-ordinators were friendly and helpful on the day.

I am so happy we chose to use Ionian weddings as our wedding planners. There was no stress at all involved in the process from start to finish. All the staff were helpful and did everything to ensure the whole process went smoothly. Our wedding was in Asos in Kefalonia. We had visited before and it's the most picturesque little village we have ever seen. We knew we would love to get married there. Everything about the day was perfect. The ceremony was beautiful, rose petals covered the walk way and seating area (something I did not ask for) it was this attention to detail that made the day even more special. The setting facing the ocean and the glowing mountains as the sun set was fenominal. The flowers and ribbons that dressed ceremony table and chairs were just stunning. The taverna and setting by the sea for the reception was equally as beautiful. Again detail such as re using the flowers off the chairs from the ceremony, and attaching them to the chairs at the reception,really stood out. The cake was better than I imagined and also decorated with the same beautiful flowers and included a spread of flowers which we had not asked for. It was a truly magical day and I could not have pictured it any better. Our wedding planner Gabi and the planner at the destination really listened to what we expected of the day and we got more than we could have imagined. I would highly recommend anyone to ionian weddings.

Ionian weddings are 5* planners. The communication was prompt all the way to the big day, Lizzie was always at hand, and was always so reassuring.  It was raining on our wedding day, but cleared up in time for the special moment. It was fantastic, we had such an amazing day! It was a dream.

If you're thinking of having a weddings in Skiathos, you wouldn't be able to pick a better wedding planner than Ionian Weddings. Our wedding was in September 2019 on Achladies Beach, the whole day and night went fantastic and all our Family and Friends had a wonderful time. Gabi was fantastic and always came back to us and explained matters clearly, it was a pleasant experience and not stressful like things can be. Thank you to all the team at Ionian Weddings, especially, Gabi at the main office, George in Skiathos, Sakis owner of the Matiatis was magnificent, & Tom the photographer we have some excellent pics to go along with our happy memories of our wedding day and time in Skiathos. We could not recommend Ionian Weddings highly enough. They attended to every detail of our big day. We felt no pressure or worries. The venues were fantastic and all our guests loved it. My now husband and I booked our wedding with Ionian in August 2018 for the September 2019 in Rhodes, Greece .Booking a wedding abroad definitely had that extra level of anxiousness. However, that was soon eliminated when we got into the full planning of the wedding. We dealt with Natalie and Gabi for the most part and they were both so efficient and so great to deal with. We never had any questions because they always provided us with every single piece of information.When we arrived in Rhodes and met with the wedding planners there Michelle and Barbara they were also amazing. Our day was seamless, they were on it the whole time. The venue, the reception the entertainment the table decorations was absolutely incredible. We had our dream wedding and I could never thank Ionian enough because it would never be a true reflection as to how grateful we really are xxx

Received great service and support from start to finish, everything was very straightforward once we had all the information. Claudia in Italy was very professional, lovely person, very accommodating.and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day.

We have emailed a number of wedding planning companies, but Ionian was the only company that seemed to have listened to what we were asking for and sent us appropriate information across. Lizzie was extremely helpful during our planning, she always responded to our queries with speed and real clarity. Lizzie's approach made the planning process stress free. Viola was great in the build up to the day at the pre wedding meetings. Where she really excelled was at keeping on top of everything on the day at the wedding venue, she took the stress out of the day and was super organised.

When we decided to get married in Italy we weren't really sure where to start. We contacted a few agencies in Italy but were a little apprehensive about using a company we knew nothing about. Friends of ours had used Ionian to plan their wedding and recommended them to us so we decided to take a look. We loved the venues in Sorrento and decided it was the location for us. We chose the sorrento cloisters because of its historical and natural feel and the hidden hillside gem due to the incredible views over the bay of Naples and also to Capri. We had the most perfect day and everything had been organised seamlessly so in the day we didn't have to worry about a thing. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ionian!

Ionian has offered support with booking a wedding abroad as didn't know where to start! So happy with the plans of the day and it all just went perfect. Our wedding planner was so supportive and responded quickly and made me feel confident, our friends had also said it's the best wedding they had been to 🙂

We recently got married in Portugal in the Pousada Palace de estoi and it was amazing from start to finish! We’d been nervous about booking a venue we’d never been to but we were astounded at how gorgeous this venue is! The gardens are beautiful and the Pillars where you eat are such a beautiful setting! We felt looked after from the booking all the way to the meal speeches and couldn’t thank Maria, Gabi and Marta enough for getting everything to run so smoothly! You made the day perfect and we can’t wait to see all the photos 🙂

We met three times prior to the wedding, once for an initial venue recce, then for a menu tasting visit and finally our pre-wedding meeting. Throughout the process she was open to all of our ideas, gave us recommendations, and helped us work out ways to add personal touches to the venues to make our day even more special. We would highly recommend Ionian to anyone - and just wish we could do it all over again!

Since booking with Ionian weddings, the service we have received has been superb from start to finish. Maria was always on hand to answer any questions we had and always answered in efficient time. On the wedding day itself, I cannot describe how truly magical it was. It was perfect in every way and I wish I could do it all again. Dear Patricia and the Ionian Team,

When I started planning our wedding last year I had a picture in my head of how I wanted it to be.  I worked initially with Maria who understood instantly the sort of wedding I was looking for; from start to finish the process of planning and organisation was stress free.  The Ionian team made it easy and all the decisions I had to make were fairly straight forward.

Once we arrived in Kefalonia we met with Athina and her colleague a few days before the wedding) and she was super organised, listened to everything we said and I was able to hand everything over to her, so all I had to think about was getting myself ready on the big day. What a day that was!!

I can't thank you enough for the way the wedding was organised.  The ceremony setting was perfect, the taverna and the food and drink amazing, the mandolin player superb and the DJ awesome.  As I said in the beginning of this email - I had a picture in my head of how I wanted the wedding to be, however the reality was even better.  I really felt like a film star on a picture perfect film set - alongside all my favourite people in the world.  So many of our guests said that it was the best wedding that they had ever attended and some who are married now want to renew their vows!

I can't thank you enough but will recommend you to anyone who asks.

Santorini Winery & Vineyard have the most amazing views and I would recommend them to any couple! Our planner was very responsive and personable, the wedding was fantastic.

We chose to get married abroad for the beautiful weather and to have something different. We had been to Santorini a few times and fell in love with it, it's a special island and we have always had a great time. Great service from Ionian made me feel at ease, and our coordinator was very helpful.

Lizzie and Valeria were so lovely and made sure that our wedding day went smoothly. Anytime I contacted Lizzie she got back to me straight away and did everything she could to help us get the important parts of our day right.

I would definitely recommend Ionian Wedding to other couples thinking of getting married overseas. We did have an amazing day, our photographer and videographer in Santorini were fabulous, they made us feel quite relaxed and they are so funny. We are absolutely delighted with our wedding experience and cannot thank you enough for helping us to realise a beautiful day. The Cloisters and Lemon Garden are stunning venues. The staff at the Foreigner's Club and Lemon Garden were excellent and very attentive, and the food at both venues was delicious. Our guests were particularly impressed by the range of options and excellent quality at the Lemon Garden and devoured our lemon wedding cake! All services booked were very professional and of high quality - the photography, florist, musicians, hairdressers and make up artist. Lizzie was lovely to deal with, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We were in touch regularly and she responded promptly to all queries. Planning our wedding was an enjoyable and stress-free experience. From the outset of meeting Viola in Sorrento she was a dream to work with, she is engaging and relaxed with excellent attention to detail. Our wedding day was perfect and we would highly recommend Ionian Weddings.

A huge thank you for all the work you did making our wedding day so special. We have chosen to book with Ionian Weddings as it was the most reputable wedding planning company we came across. We've had an excellent wedding, our wedding planner and coordinator were efficient and friendly.

Fantastic service, you're in good hands! Our planner was friendly and easy to deal with. She quickly responded to my emails and telephone calls, nothing was too much trouble. The entire process made planning the wedding so easy, we were able to relax and concentrate once we got to Sorrento and saw how gorgeous everything was. The UK planner made us feel confident that we could leave everything in her hands, and the planner in Sorrento helped us to relax and enjoy our day, whilst making sure that we knew everything that would happen on the day. The Cloisters in Sorrento was the perfect ceremony destination, our guests loved it (and especially loved the lemon cart we added!). The Hidden Hillside Gem was absolutely perfect, and we had a glorious experience in an amazing venue, with people who looked after us and made us feel very special. Brilliant experience!

The wedding abroad market is a mine field. After reading previous testimonials and having the perfect locations for us we went with Ionian Weddings. We never had a meeting at the office but for us there was no need - it's almost a surreal experience as it's very enjoyable and no stress choosing venues. The Extras Catalogue is fantastically done that you can pick and choose as you require, all stress is eliminated. You feel you should be doing things but Ionian have it all in hand for you so you are just left counting down, we only booked ours 8 months in advance. They are always there to help and answer questions. We had an amazing day and so did our guests. An experience like no other and commented was the best wedding they had been too. Massive thumbs up from us and thank you!!

Ionian Weddings have gone above and beyond to give us an incredible experience. Our wedding planner, Lizzie, was very patient and paid a lot of attention to our wishes. The way she read our ceremony meant that it became a very happy and emotional moment for us. Finally, the location we picked was beyond anything we imagined it would be. We knew it would be beautiful, but it was breathtaking! The villa had a large garden, a very stylish dining area and an amazing view of the coast. Our wedding planner changed but that didn't affect the service we received; excellent service from Maria, even in the evening and at weekends! Seemless planning and always there to answer our questions! We wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend their services to anyone planning a wedding abroad.

From day one organising our wedding in Sorrento was so easy and stress free due to Lizzie at Ionian Weddings being on hand to answer all of our questions no matter how silly or small. Our coordinator Valeria was brilliant and eased all of our worries once we arrived in Sorrento. The day was amazing and the venue exceeded all of our expectations, plus the food was incredible! Getting married in Paphos was a great idea! The wedding planners in UK were really helpful, and once we landed in Cyprus our wedding co-ordinator was amazing, she did everything she could for us to make sure our day was perfect! Made it so easy and stress-free for us. We had all that we wanted and our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined! The venue was so special and exclusive, a lot of our guests have said how beautiful it was. It was definitely the right choice.

The Sea View Restaurant was insane, the food was the best Italian food we had all week. Every single guest commented on how fabulous it was and we really set the bar high.It did heavily rain on the way to the church (just on myself) luckily the guests who were ahead managed to get inside before the heavens opened. I on the other hand was assisted by my dad and the assistant to Antonella with 3 umbrellas and us all holding the dress up. However I was told it was very lucky by pretty much every Italian I passed walking down.

We found Ionian weddings using a google search. Our whole experience from start to finish was faultless. The whole planning stage was stress free and relaxed. Helen, Helen and Roz where all amazing and could not do enough for us, I can not thank them enough for everything they did to make our day perfect. Stunning location for both the Reception and the Ceremony. Our planner Gabi was truly wonderful, and Giannis could not do enough for us in Santorini and we had the perfect day. Everybody had a fantastic time and said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

We have had brilliant service from start to finish. Our wedding was magical and everything we had hoped for! The staff, from the UK to the staff in Lindos were fantastic! The hair stylists, make up artists, photographer, planners, the waiters.. we could not fault them. Brilliant staff, quick responses. Helen was my initial contact. Gabi was brilliant answering all my questions and then Natalie was so lovely when we met and made sure all answers were double checked by the local team! We had the most gorgeous wedding in stunning Sorrento. Ionian Weddings did an amazing job of planning the wedding the whole evening went off with a bang! It was perfect. A lot of people commented on how relaxed I was about the wedding and that's because I knew the planning of our day was in good hands. Our wedding planner was Lizzie and we couldn't be more happy with the service she provided us. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was quick to reply to any messages we sent to her. Gabi dealt with all our legal paper work and made the whole process really easy for us. We couldn't have asked for a better day! Anyone choosing to get married at the Cloisters, if you can I recommend walking to your reception venue as walking through the streets of Sorrento with your wedding party is amazing. There were people walking up to us and congratulating us and people coming out on their balconies to clap us and take photos. It was just a fab experience. We had the pleasure of dealing with Cassi (UK Planner) and Sue (Destination co-ordinator) for our wedding journey. I can’t stress how fantastic this company is! From before you leave the UK  you get pictures to choose from and catalogues with everything they have to offer, until you arrive at your destination and attend your pre wedding meetings. We opted for Sorrento Hidden Hillside gem. Our wedding organiser was Viola who is utterly fantastic. Bernardo our venue wedding planner was just as fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, everything was answered before I even thought of it. The best day of our lives completely stress free!

Ionian Weddings organised a beautiful ceremony at Villa Fondi. The sun was shining, the views of the Bay of Naples and Mt Vesuvius were amazing. The reception venue gave us access to the Sky Bar, again with amazing views and a beautiful sunset. The Sky Lounge were excellent hosts. Food, drink and cake were outstanding. Bride, Groom and guests had a wonderful day. Lizzie our wedding planner was always very helpful and organised. Polite and friendly - she would go away and research answers for our questions regarding the wedding and do her best to find the best. Viola (& the representative from Sky Lounge) were outstanding. I was really impressed with how lovely they were and also how they wanted to do everything to personalise our wedding the way we wanted it. Ionian Weddings could not have been more helpful, they took our vision and made it all possible, nothing was too much trouble. We dealt with 2 Wedding Planners in the UK, both ladies were very helpful and efficient, answering any queries in timely fashion. At our face to face meeting with Lizzie we found her to be very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the package and products. Viola, our co-ordinator was amazing, she made sure we were hapy with all the arrangements. We went to both of the venues with her and to see the florists - she put us both at ease with arrangements and made the day work seamlessly.

We would definitely recommend using Ionian. They took a lot of the stress away from us that comes with organising and planning a wedding. I'll be honest. Going into the whole situation I was a bit skeptical. At the end of the day this is one of the biggest days of our lives and I don't usually leave somebody else in charge (bit of a perfectionist) but once I had spoken/emailed Lizzie I felt much more at ease. They definitely have everything in hand for your big day. I cannot thank Viola enough for everything she did. Unfortunately it rained on our big day (sunny for the rest of our trip of course) but with Viola arranging everything in the way she did, it was still the most magical day and I wouldn't change a single thing of it. I want to thank Ionian for everything. There was so little stress and worry. And they nailed everything! I would 100% recommend using Ionian for your big day abroad.
