Our dream wedding in Portugal was made possible by Emma and the team at Ionian Weddings. Everything was perfect to every last detail. Emma was so prompt in replying to every email, nothing was too much trouble. Even when Emma was on holiday herself before our wedding, she gave me her personal WhatsApp number in case we needed it. Where do we even begin! Ionian Weddings have been absolutely amazing from the very beginning. When we first decided to get married abroad, we had no idea where to start or what the process would involve. We found Ionian Weddings on Instagram and noticed they offered a package for the ceremony and venue we had our hearts set on in Italy. From the very first phone call, they made us feel that our dream wedding was completely possible and helped us understand exactly how everything would work.

We had always imagined that organising a wedding abroad would be stressful and overwhelming, but Ionian Weddings made the whole experience feel so easy and enjoyable. Their step-by-step guidance, support and knowledge were invaluable throughout the entire process, and we always felt that we had someone there to turn to whenever we needed help.

We were assigned a UK-based wedding planner, Maria, who has been absolutely wonderful. She has been nothing but kind, supportive and incredibly patient with all our emails and questions along the way! It’s clear that she has fantastic connections within the wedding industry and genuinely loves what she does. Whatever we needed, Maria was always there to help. She took care of communicating with the Italian wedding planners and vendors, which took so much pressure off us and made everything feel incredibly smooth and organised. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide us through the process.

We were also assigned a planner in Italy, Viola, and we would say exactly the same about her. As soon as we arrived in Italy, she was there to welcome us with lovely messages and made sure we felt completely at ease. She organised our pre wedding meeting, helped with the timings for the day and was on hand throughout to make sure everything was running exactly as it should. Her professionalism and calm approach made us feel like we were in the safest possible hands.

The vendors recommended by Ionian Weddings were also incredible. Every single vendor we chose exceeded our expectations, and each of them played such an important part in creating the most amazing day. They have given us memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

There truly aren’t enough words to express how much this day meant to us. It was everything we had dreamed of and more, and we will be forever grateful to Ionian Weddings for the hard work, dedication, care and passion they put into making our wedding so special.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish! We honestly can’t thank our wedding planner Rachel enough for all of her help, support and guidance throughout the whole wedding planning process. The final few weeks were absolutely 100mph with all the last-minute details, travelling out to Santorini and trying to actually relax before the big day, but knowing everything was being looked after made such a difference. The wedding planners in Santorini were also absolutely fantastic and worked so hard to make sure everything came together perfectly. We felt completely supported throughout and couldn’t have asked for a better team. Le Ciel was an absolutely incredible venue and was everything we could have hoped for and more. The views, setting and atmosphere were just stunning, and the staff were exceptional from start to finish. They were so attentive, friendly and professional and genuinely helped make our wedding day so special. We had the most amazing wedding and everything was just perfect. Santorini completely stole our hearts, and we will forever look back on our wedding day with the happiest memories. A huge thank you to everyone involved for helping make our dream wedding a reality. We have just used Ionian Weddings for our wedding in Sorrento July 26 and can absolutely not fault a single thing. We first started the journey around December 24 and it was a great process all the way. Communication was great and all of our questions were handled and dealt with in a great manner. Maria helped with plans whilst we were in the UK and then about a month before Gemma from Sorrento started assisting and took over. Both were absolutely amazing in their own areas of work. The on the day planning from Gemma was brilliant and kept things running smoothly from start to finish. Cloisters in Sorrento is amazing as was the villa Antiche Mura. I would whole heartedly recommend Ionian Weddings to anyone.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Ionian Weddings. They delivered the best day of our lives, even better than we could have ever imagined. Our planner Chermain was fantastic and nothing was ever a problem. She joined us halfway through our planning stages due to a staffing change and it felt seamless. Absolutely fantastic company. When we get allocated our wedding planner, we got allocated Georgia Hockey, she has been the most incredible, reassuring, informative, reassuring planner I could have hoped for. I asked so many in depth questions due to me not really knowing what I was doing) and she went above and beyond to find out the answers for me and came back to me quickly. Our wedding was simply perfect. We booked it 2/3 years in advance. We got married in Santorini 2026 and it was amazing. We started in contacts with Patricia who helped us with any questions we had to begin with. She was amazing and made us feel confident and safe booking with Ionian weddings. Once it got closer to the wedding date I was then in contact with Rachael who was my UK wedding planner. I can’t say enough great things about her - we had a few hurdles to overcome which were out of our control but with her support we managed to sort them out no problem! She was always available and always so accommodating with any questions or special requests that I had. I also had a couple of meetings in Santorini with Voula - again she was absolutely brilliant. She made the day go so smoothly and she was so genuine and kind and wanted the best for us on the day. The whole team was fabulous, not one thing went wrong ( even if it did, it still would’ve been amazing). My husband Ryan and I got married at the Limestone Heritage Park in Malta on 27/05/2026, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both the venue and Ionian Weddings! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and from our initial inquiry through to the wedding day, the service provided by Ionian was seamless and professional. Their experience and support took a huge amount of stress out of planning a destination wedding. A special thank you to Pat, who was fantastic throughout, particularly with helping us navigate the legal documentation, and to Chermain, who was always responsive and helpful with any requests. I'd also like to recognise Pam, our wedding coordinator in Malta. She was incredibly organised, attentive, and made us feel completely at ease from the moment we met her. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she ensured our day ran perfectly. She even arranged for us to view the venue the day before the wedding, which was a lovely touch as we hadn't seen it in person before. Overall, I would highly recommend Ionian Weddings. From start to finish the Ionian team were fantastic. They explained all of the options i had initially seen on their website and social media clearly so that I could choose the perfect option for us as a couple. They were quick to write up a proposal with the choices we had discussed and also included any extras incase we wanted them. The team were not pushy with selling the extras but made it clear the timeline with each one so that we wouldn't miss out if we wanted them later on. Emma helped us with the UK legal paperwork which at first was alot but she broke it down into smaller steps so it wasn't so overwhelming. In the weeks before the wedding, Emma was chdcking up with everything and explained what would be happening in Italy a few days before the wedding. A pre wedding meeting was set up with Anna, the wedding coordinator. We met her and spoke through all of the details and the running of the day which was great. On the wedding day, Anna was in contact with both the groom and bridal party with no stress put on either of us which was brilliant. She liased with tbe best woman and bridesmaids before the ceremony which meant everyone was where they needed to be at the right time. Once the ceremony was over, Anna organised the guests and was checking in on the two of us with any changes or questions so the day went exactly as we wanted it. On the days following the wedding, Anna met with us so we could collect our certificate too. The whole process was made incredibly straight forward with the help of Emma and later on Anna, but they never lost touch with the main point and charm of the whole experience. I would do it all again in a heart beat.

I am writing a review as when we booked our wedding Trustpilot really helped us make that decision. When looking at Ionian weddings online we honestly thought it must be a scam. It seemed too good to be true. I can assure you that it is not! We got married in April in Sorrento and had the most amazing, magical day. It was beautiful and everything ran smoothly. Maria was our UK wedding planner and she was very attentive from the day we paid the deposit to a month after the wedding when we received our video.
