Ionian Weddings helped turn our dream wedding into a reality. From start to finish, their support was exceptional, and every detail was handled with care and professionalism. The suppliers they recommended were excellent, and the destination itself was more beautiful than we could have imagined. If you’re thinking about a destination wedding, we can’t recommend Ionian Weddings highly enough—they truly exceeded all our expectations.

 

There is only one word to describe our whole wedding planning process and wedding day – perfect! From the first time we contacted Ionian Weddings to the treatment we received after the wedding was incredible. Patricia was so helpful in answering all of our questions and recommending wedding venues before we booked Cyprus Hidden  beach. Then, our UK wedding planner (Helen) was absolutely fabulous. She was so responsive, caring, organised and had a great eye for detail. She made the wedding planning experience completely stress-free. Once we landed in Cyprus, Cathy (our wedding coordinator) took over from Helen to make sure everything went as planned. She was outstanding! Cathy allowed us to just enjoy our holiday and wedding day without worrying about a thing. She was unbelievably amazing at her job! Also, everyone involved in the actual day (hair stylist, venue manager, venue staff, photographer and DJ) were brilliant! All of our guests can’t stop talking about our wedding and how perfect the venue/day was! Would happily do it all again!

Our wedding day was wonderful; thank you to George our local planner for ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food was amazing, as were the Greek dancers and Groom Therapy band were fantastic- a good time was had by all.
The only slight down side was the boat transfer to the reception took a long time which affected how much party time we had and the legal process/ paperwork at the UK side was not as smooth as we had anticipated. This was a shame as it involved several solicitor visits but it did not take away from the enjoyment on our special day. Overall we would highly recommended Ionian weddings and and the local planners/suppliers involved in making our day one to remember forever.

Exceptional Wedding Company ! We had our dream wedding in Sorrento, Italy

We are just back from our dream wedding in Sorrento, we were married on 29th May 2025. Lucy, Maria & Antonella have been outstanding! From the day we enquired online after finding Ionian Weddings on Instagram we have not been disappointed ! Lucy was our first contact and she helped us choose our wedding venue, then Maria was our UK wedding planner and she helped shape our vision of the wedding day, no question wasn’t answered and I had a lot ! Maria was always prompt and happy to help with any query and also provided suggestions herself which was great ! Antonella was our Italian wedding planner and she was excellent, took care of everything for us and nothing was a hassle. It made our day perfect in every way and we had no stress .. this was part of the reason we wanted  to hire a wedding planner ! I can’t  speak highly enough of Ionian Weddings and everyone I worked with 5 star service and truly meet your clients needs.

Ionian Weddings made our dream destination wedding a reality! From the start our UK planner Emma was incredibly kind, patient, helpful, and always responsive – she even provided photo examples whenever we needed, which made planning virtually so much easier. On the big day, Serena was an amazing coordinator: knowledgeable about the venue, perfectly handling all the vendors and timelines so we could truly relax and enjoy every moment. The venue itself was absolutely breath-taking, the food and cake were delicious, and every detail was beautifully executed. Our guests raved it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended, and we truly didn’t want the night to end.

Wedding  Planners who make dreams come true

It only seems right to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone at Ionian who helped us to plan the wedding of our dreams! From start to finish we have had the most amazing experience and that’s down to the hard work of all those that were part of our journey. It’s been completely stress free, which has allowed us to enjoy every single moment leading to our big day and, of course our wedding day itself.

A special mention to Helen, Pat and Sarah and the lovely ladies in Rhodes – Michele & Beverley who made our vision come to life. We really had the most incredible day, one that we’d love to relive over and over. All of our guests were blown away; the memories we made will be cherished forever and spoken about for a very long time.

Once we were engaged, we genuinely had no idea where to start looking for a destination wedding. After hearing about Ionian Weddings and from the first point of contact, we knew we’d gone to the right place and didn’t look back.

For anybody reading and wondering, we got married in Rhodes at St Paul’s Chapel then enjoyed a boat cruise to our wedding reception at Skala. The vibes were immaculate and we highly recommend booking with Ionian if you’re hoping for a magical wedding day.

We had the most perfect wedding day all thanks to Ionian Weddings and the wedding team over in Skiathos.  We were originally supposed to get married during Covid, unfortunately our wedding got postponed twice. We finally had our special day on 05/06/2025 and it was everything we could have ever dreamed of. We had a few different weddings planners over the years, but they have all been absolutely amazing. Also I wanted to thank the team over in Skiathos who brought the vision to life.

George, Nick, Despina and everyone else involved in our wedding. We couldn’t have done it without any of you and our day couldn’t have been any more perfect. Thank you all xxx
