Planning a wedding abroad can potentially become a very stressful time- choosing the right destination, ceremony venue and reception. However, following a lot of research, most of which was done by my sister, we discovered Ionian Weddings and immediately felt in safe hands. Their wedding packages, for all the different destinations, are clearly advertised and reasonably priced. From the beginning, we were introduced to Stacey, our wedding planner, who became our “Wedding Guardian Angel”. We really cannot thank her enough. She is very calm, friendly, knowledgeable, conscientious and made us feel special, unique, addressing all our individual needs and questions in a very timely manner to alleviate our stresses. Every step was structured,and information, throughout the 16 months, given in small timely chunks to prevent us becoming too overwhelmed. Stacey, as I suspect the other Ionian Wedding Planners do, gave that extra special touch, speaking directly by phone, whilst in the UK, making sure every last detail was covered before we left for Greece. A lovely message on our Wedding day also provided that extra special touch, making us feel that the company had a real interest in our special day. Stacey and the team work to high standards and it clearly shows by the success of the day. Our wedding was the magical, dream wedding we wished for in Skiathos. The weather, the beautiful location for our ceremony- at the Bourtzi and the reception at the lovely rustic taverna, all pieced together to give us a day that will stay with us until our last heart beat…priceless memories. We have to give a special mention to the manager and staff at the Restaurant for creating the theme for our wedding reception-it was truly beautiful and perfect, just as as we had visualised in the UK. Many compliments were also given for the meal provided- typical greek dishes. Also, a very special mention to our photographers, who we feel made our day, ensuring that it ran well, timely and captured, in their pictures, all the precious moments, keeping this lovely day alive. Ionian Weddings made our wedding in Kefalonia completely hassle free and wonderful. They tailor made the package so it was exactly what we wanted, they always got back to us quickly and helped us through all of the paperwork and legal side of things. Thank you for a great service! We had a wonderful wedding, exactly as we wanted it! Everything was easy to arrange and beautifully done so that our day was completely stress free! Thank you for making our wedding truly special.

If you’re going to get married abroad then these are the girls to organise it for you! Would’t have done it any other way, and I cannot stress their excellent service on all parts. It’s scary organising the biggest day of your life thousands of miles away but no matter what questions we had, they were always answered and in the end it was even more magical than we ever expected. All ran perfectly. Amazing!!!  We had the time of our lives and the girls made it absolutely perfect for us!

You made our day in Skiathos beautiful and amazing, we will never forget it and to our amazing photographer thank you for capturing our day. Me and Nikki were engaged on the island and I’ve visited since I was 12 years old. We got engaged in 2013 and by 2017 we had our wedding where we always wanted it so thank you so so much Ionian Weddings you made a 12 year old girl’s dream happen 🙂

I have felt so relaxed through the whole process. Katy has been incredible, personable and from start to finish understood exactly what we wanted and made it all happen helpful and took the stress out of the experience and made it all easy! Thank you so much for everything.

Ionian helped us organise the most perfect wedding: our day was so special and felt so unique to us, and everything went perfectly. It was everything we could have hoped to have. Everyone we spoke to (in particular Gabi, Anett, and George) was courteous, friendly, so helpful and immensely patient (we had a lot of questions!).

We couldn’t have organised such a wonderful day without them – everything went so smoothly, and we were really able to enjoy the run up to the wedding and the day itself thanks to their attention to detail, assistance and support.

We could not wait to share our experience with Ionian Weddings after getting back from our wedding trip! Anna was super helpful throughout all the stages, from enquiry to booking and finalising all details before our big day. I was getting almost instant responses, nothing was too much trouble even though I can be quite a demanding client, especially when it comes to such an important life-time event! 🙂 We could not have wished for a better location choice, which was a real paradise, and yet hired privately only to us and our guests! Amazing video & photo crew who made everybody very comfortable during the photoshoot and were catching the beautiful moments from our day to stay with us for the rest of our lives. Huge thanks to very professional make-up artist, Tina who made me look and feel special for the day. Superb choice of the DJ who was having as much fun as we did! Finally, thanks to Sheena, our local wedding coordinator, for wrapping everything up for us and keeping an eye out for everything during the day. Thank you for the amazing lilies, the smell of these will be reminding us of the perfect event! Great work Guys, it has been a sheer pleasure to be dealing with you and wish you all the best for your future business. We could not be happier with the day you organised for us and we are sure that you will do the same for many more couples! You exceeded all the expectations we had, massive thanks for making our day such a success!

A huge thank you for all the work you did making our wedding day so special. It flew past but everything you organised from start to finish was perfect and all our guests said it was one of the best weddings they’d been to. We’d also like to know if there’s a way we can let other couples using Ionian Weddings know how good both the photographer, our makeup artist and the DJ were. We wrongly assumed we’d be getting a less personalised service as we didn’t have any contact with them prior to the day, but they were all fantastic! Once again, a massive thanks to you and your team – you made our wedding day totally unforgettable!

We chose to book with Ionian Weddings after cancelling our big white wedding in the UK. We felt that our day was being lost in the expectations of others and we weren’t enjoying the planning process. We booked a small wedding in Lindos through Ionian Weddings after seeing photos of St Paul’s Chapel. Booking through Ionian Weddings was very easy and they always kept us up to date with information. Ionian Weddings really took the pressure out of planning – especially the paperwork! We had a small, Greek wedding and it was everything we could have hoped for! The venue, the food and the setting was absolutely perfect and we will both remember it for the rest of our lives – I want to do it all over again.
