We would like to thank Anna in the UK and Sofia and her local team in Santorini for arranging our perfect wedding day – everything was great and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the first meeting with Anna to the last we felt very assured that all the details of the wedding would be taken care of as we wanted them. Anna made us feel very comfortable and we immediately decided we wanted to book our wedding with Ionian. Every e-mail we sent with questions was promptly answered and all the information we requested was provided in detail. Anna was always ready with great suggestions to improve our experience. I can’t thank Anna and the team enough for providing such a high standard of service. Also the team in Santorini was so great, nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome at the pre-wedding meeting. They were too very helpful right from making suggestions, providing alternatives to the actual setting up on the wedding day. The venue owners both at Horizon Beach and Santorini Gem were also very friendly and helpful. I cannot describe how easy everything has been with Ionian. I was the laid back, easy going bride who did not dictate every detail and I have to say I am glad I wasn’t consumed by all the details as everything was handled so well by the team and all my ideas were enhanced and made better. Once again thank you for helping us make our dream wedding a reality. Our day was absolutely perfect.

We had the absolute wedding of of our dreams… every second was perfect and exactly how we wanted it. The venue was amazing and every single person did their upmost to make the day special. Fantastic service.

From the very first day we contacted Ionian Weddings, right through to the wedding day itself, and now even after the day has passed, their service has been amazing. The package offers were very reasonable, and we chose Ionian Weddings because we had so many options to play around with to make our day unique to our style. Booking was stress free,and everything was dealt with via email (being in Scotland it was difficult to pop down for a meeting). The wedding day itself was perfect. Cameo Island was unbelievable, and the photos don’t do it justice – it is stunning! Our local co-ordinator was there to make sure everything was how we wanted it, and that we were happy. The photographer we had was also superb, and didn’t intrude in our day at all (not like how some can be at traditional home weddings). He approached us and asked if it was a good time to go for some photos the two of us and everything was done when we were ready, and also made a great effort (and success) in capturing some ideas for photos I gave him before the day. Our DJ was spot on as well, and the dance floor was never empty – my husband made a playlist of the type of music we wanted, and he added a few which fitted right in and kept everyone on their feet. Every second of our Wedding day from beginning to end was perfect.

Me and my fiance Danny had been planning our wedding for 18 months, but within weeks of being engaged I found Ionian Weddings and knew they were the company for us! Very personable and not pushy, and no question was ever too much trouble. My wedding coordinator Helen left Ionian after a few months and at that point I was a bit nervous about who might be taking over our wedding but oh my goodness Anna was absolutely AMAZING!! After finding our perfect wedding on the stunning island of Kefalonia we decided to go and see it in person! Whilst we were there we met up with Dimitra our Greek coordinator who took us up to the gorgeous little chapel in Asos hidden away in pine trees (a real gem) and then to the taverna where we would be having our wedding reception to meet with the owner of the taverna who was so lovely and gave up time to sit with us and discuss ideas, this gave us a massive head start in making decisions!

The day before we flew out to Kefalonia I received a call from Anna who wanted to wish us luck, you really do start to feel like friends after all that time and planning together! It was a lovely touch! Fast forward 1 year on and we are now in Greece! Dimitra and Athina both came to our hotel to talk through the finer details the day before the wedding and I had no worries at all, these amazing ladies had it all under control! So then it’s our wedding day Monday 4th June 2018…the best day of our lives! We knew that it would be something special but it was better than we could ever have imagined, the most perfect day we will never forget! Our guests cannot get over how magical it all was.

We are so blown away with how smoothly everything went and we must send massive THANK YOU’s to so many people including Anna our UK coordinator, Dimitra and Athina our Greek coordinators, my super talented hairdresser, and my makeup artist with her fantastic make up skills, the team at the taverna, and the registrar who was amazing and married us on his own wedding anniversary!! Our DJ had the party going all night long! We will never forget the moment he played splash splash when some of the guests jumped in the harbour for a swim! Right up until collecting our wedding certificates and even coming home we have been treated like the only couple to have ever been married. To top it off we received our absolutely stunning photos from our photographer, they are out of this world, someone even said ‘it looks like something out of a wedding magazine’! Others have said ‘this is the BEST wedding they have ever been to’!

We couldn’t be any happier and know for sure this wedding will be talked about for many many years to come! Ionian weddings you have been sensational!

Ionian have been amazing to work with and made our wedding day everything we hoped for and more. Lizzie, our planner, was brilliant answering our MANY questions – no request was too small, even helping us out with local tips for the area for our stay! Gabi made the paperwork process seamless and I know we would not have been writing this as a legally married couple had we had to do the paperwork ourselves. Our local coordinator Antonella was such pleasure to work with. We met three times prior to the wedding, once for an initial venue recce, then for a menu tasting visit and finally our pre-wedding meeting. Throughout the process she was open to all of our ideas, gave us recommendations, and helped us work out ways to add personal touches to the venues to make our day even more special. We would highly recommend Ionian to anyone – and just wish we could do it all over again!

Jason and I would like to say thank you so much to yourselves and everyone else involved for the fantastic wedding you gave us and the amazing memories it gave, not just us but all the family, we are still talking  about the great time we had. We were not the easiest of customers that’s for sure but everything was absolutely amazing, better than we could ever have anticipated. Thank you all so much for everything you have done for us. There is no way I could ever put into words how amazing our day was. The venues, the wedding planners in Santorini, the way they understood exactly what we wanted and made everything perfect in the day, your team of amazing hair and makeup artists plus our beautiful photos, and our flowers (which turned out to be exactly what I wanted). I could never thank you all so so much for everything you have done. Rebecca and Jason xxxx

Ionian Weddings helped us create a magical wedding day that we will always remember. The Wedding Team both in London & Italy are fantastic and catered for all our needs. The Cloisters in Sorrento was such a romantic destination to choose for our ceremony, followed by a fabulous choice of the Hidden Hillside Gem as our Reception Venue, a family run villa where they couldn’t have done more for us. Our Wedding Day was amazing and we truly have Ionian Weddings to thank for this – we couldn’t have done it without the team in London and Sorrento. We are so grateful we had the most perfect magical wedding in Sorrento, Italy at the beginning of August. All of the staff were fantastic from the start to finish, and even in the days following our wedding. Maria was our wonderful wedding coordinator based in the UK, and was constantly on hand happy to answer any queries or question we had. Always fast responses to emails. No request was too big or too small. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of planning our wedding. Even through the stress of the global pandemic, as Maria was quick to update us on any changes. Viola was our wedding coordinator in Sorrento, she was absolutely fantastic in the days leading up to the wedding, and her attention to detail is second to none. She took all the stress and worries out of the day and meant we could both relax and enjoy the day knowing she had everything under control. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Our friends and family who attended said they had never been to a wedding quite so beautiful, well organised and relaxed. Our ceremony took place at the Cloisters in Sorrento, the most beautiful setting, followed by a meal in the stunning lemon garden. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was amazing. We then took a short walk to the foreigners club, where we were well looked after until the early hours of the morning. All of the suppliers were brilliant from the lemon cart to the amazing creative photographer, videographer, to beautician and hair dresser. We really couldn’t have asked for more and we can’t thank Maria, Viola and the team enough.
