I could write a million words and it wouldn't cover how we feel about Ionian Weddings. Totally amazing from the first email enquiry to the best wishes we received after the wedding. All I can say is if anyone is looking for a professional, caring wedding planning company, then look no further! They will make your wedding dreams a reality. It can be a stressful time organising a wedding, and with all the issues in 2020. However, Lizzie our wedding planner was not only very professional, but her communication was excellent, ensuring we were kept up to date with any changes in Italy or anything that may effect our wedding. We had lots of amendments, which were never an issue and were always sorted. Her personal approach made it feel as if she was as involved in our wedding as we were, which gave us the confidence everything would be OK.

Booked our wedding with Ionian Weddings last year and everything was absolutely fantastic from the get go. Helen was always at the end of the phone to deal with any questions we had and then when Covid hit, me and my wife were constantly stressing about it being cancelled. Helen again reassured us and even sorted out a backup date just in case and dealt with the inevitable dropouts and extra requests without fuss. So we eventually made it to Cyprus and our local planner was quite possibly the greatest person I've ever met in my life. Anything and everything she sorted for us. If you book with Ionian Weddings and are lucky enough to deal with Helen you can be assured that your wedding will be absolutely perfect just like ours was.

Skiathos

We can’t thank you enough for the planning and execution of our wedding in Skiathos - it really was the perfect day! There was always someone to talk to if we had any queries, despite being in the middle of a pandemic. The transition between our English wedding planner and our Greek wedding planner was seamless and everyone could not have been more helpful or supportive. We visited all the suppliers a few days before the wedding and confirmed exactly what we wanted, which was really reassuring. We would 100% recommend Ionian weddings!

We are so grateful we had the most perfect magical wedding in Sorrento, Italy at the beginning of August. All of the staff were fantastic from the start to finish, and even in the days following our wedding. Maria was our wonderful wedding coordinator based in the UK, and was constantly on hand happy to answer any queries or question we had. Always fast responses to emails. No request was too big or too small. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of planning our wedding. Even through the stress of the global pandemic, as Maria was quick to update us on any changes. Viola was our wedding coordinator in Sorrento, she was absolutely fantastic in the days leading up to the wedding, and her attention to detail is second to none. She took all the stress and worries out of the day and meant we could both relax and enjoy the day knowing she had everything under control. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Our friends and family who attended said they had never been to a wedding quite so beautiful, well organised and relaxed. Our ceremony took place at the Cloisters in Sorrento, the most beautiful setting, followed by a meal in the stunning lemon garden. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was amazing. We then took a short walk to the foreigners club, where we were well looked after until the early hours of the morning. All of the suppliers were brilliant from the lemon cart to the amazing creative photographer, videographer, to beautician and hair dresser. We really couldn’t have asked for more and we can’t thank Maria, Viola and the team enough.
