Wow!! What an amazing experience we had with Ionian Weddings from start to finish.
For planning a wedding in a completely different country I thought would be beyond stressful but Ionian weddings definitely takes that stress away.
Myself and my partner Michael, got married in Massa Lubrense, Italy, September 2024, with our reception down in the Lemon Grove Garden (which was absolutely beautiful with STUNNING views) then up the top on the terrace for our evening. The photos don’t do the venue justice!
From first emailing to enquire about our special day, straight up to the day itself, I had great communication from start to finish.
Our Wedding Consultant Maria, was amazing all throughout and was very quick at responding to emails and answering any questions I had throughout the planning. She was amazing at keeping on top of everything!
On our special day we had two co-ordinators Viola and Rosaria who made the day SO SMOOTH, they made sure everything was on time and running smoothly that we could enjoy our day to the max.
Thank you so much for handling our special day and if we could, we’d do it all again! Italy will now and forever be our second home and have such a special place in our hearts x

Planning a wedding, especially abroad, is a huge and stressful undertaking. I can safely say Ionian Weddings not only made it possible but completely surpassed our expectations throughout the entire process.
Myself and my now wife were married in Santorini, Greece. It is hard to call a day perfect, particularly a wedding day, but this was as close as it gets.

Our UK planner, Rachel, was with us every step of the way supporting and organising our day. No request was too big despite being very busy organising multiple weddings. We felt very cared for and looked after.

In Greece, our lovely facilitator Voula made sure every detail was considered and executed flawlessly.

We personally felt the fees were very reasonable considering the wedding landscape. Ionian have a great system where you pick your base package at a set fee but can add on / upgrade aspects to your specification whilst keeping close control of the cost.
For anyone unsure on whether to go ahead and work with Ionian for a dream destination wedding I can only say, from our experience, to go ahead and take the plunge.

Our wedding felt like something out of a film and the feedback we received from guests was incredible.

100% recommend Ionian weddings if you're planning a wedding abroad. I was super sceptical about getting married abroad due to it being 'unknown' but the company were incredible. If anything, it was actually so much easier than planning a wedding in the UK as the planner (in our case the incredible Rachel) took care of everything.

No question was ignored, and everything was taken care of. We got married in Santorini, and I cannot recommend enough. Every thing was perfect, and was truly like a dream come true. We had a planner at the wedding day who made everything run perfectly, and I didn't have any stresses at all!

If you're considering a wedding abroad then 100% use Ionian Weddings, they truly are amazing!

We decided to get married in Sorrento, Italy and used Ionian Weddings due to the positive reviews and comprehensive, reasonably priced packages available.
Although slightly apprehensive - as we have never attended a wedding abroad - we certainly weren't disappointed. The booking process and wedding arrangements all ran smoothly as a result of the help and support from our UK planner Maria and Viola in Sorrento made sure everything ran to plan on the big day!
We were married in Sorrento and I can honestly say the experience of the day exceeded all our expectations - together with those of our guests. As well as the beautiful surroundings the food, service and attentiveness of the staff was of a very high standard and I cannot think of one negative aspect to mention.
Sorrento is a beautiful place to visit and an absolutely perfect place to celebrate a wedding, we would highly recommend it!

My husband and I got married in Lindos, Rhodes Greece last week! Ionian weddings were fantastic throughout the whole process and would definitely recommend booking your wedding with them!

Where to even begin… We would like to say a huge thank you to Rachel for all of her support, guidance, efforts and planning over the last year to make sure our wedding was nothing short of perfect.
I honestly wouldn’t choose any other destination, Santorini was a dream wedding location, the views are spectacular and the weather was perfect the whole time we were there. Every one of our guests said it was the best wedding they have been to, it was truly magical and a day that will be remembered and reminisced forever.
Giannis and Voula ensured everything looked beautiful on the day and our vision really came to life. The flowers, the aisle, the welcome board, the seating plan, the list could go on - it was all perfect.
We have received a sneak preview of the photos taken on the day and they are better than we could ever have imagined!
The sax player was absolutely incredible - he kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. All of our guests loved him!

We couldn’t possibly thank you all enough - but a special thank you to Rachel, who helped make this all possible. What we would do to rewind and do the whole day all over again! It was simply the best.

We are really pleased with the service that Ionian Weddings offered us. They were very responsive from start to finish and we got everything we wanted and more. Our guests cannot stop talking about how great their experience was. Our Santorini Wedding was amazing and couldn’t have gone any better. The views, the food, decorations, the photographer, the violinist, waiters/waitresses… everything was just incredible.

If it wasn’t for the help of our wedding planner Rachel in the UK and the amazing wedding planner in Santorini, Giannis it wouldn't have been as organised and relaxed as it was.Their ideas, planning and help from the start of the process to the wedding day we will be forever grateful for.

The day was something we will remember forever, we had no stress on the day or leading up to the wedding everything was taken under control and it was lovely to just be able to be present and just enjoy the day without worrying about anything.

If you are thinking of booking your wedding abroad then use Ionian! They were fantastic right through from planning with Rachel through to Giannis and Vola in Santorini! Even changing some things right up untill the day! Everyone couldn’t have helped us anymore and I have no complaints about our wedding at all! It all ran very smoothly. I wish we could re do it everyday!!! I keep reliving our day everyday!
I didn’t feel stressed throughout the planning due to Ionian, they did it all!

Dana villas is so so beautiful and the service there was amazing. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the events manager was extremely helpful and the staff were polite and helpful! The food there is fantastic! Everyone has commented on the foot and the wine was lovely as well! The events manager did everything he could to enable us to have a fantastic day! Everything ran according to plan!

My husband and I got married 2 weeks ago in Tuscany, Italy, and we can honestly say we had the best day of our lives and this is all down to the incredible planning, guidance and support from Ionian Weddings! Maria was our wedding planner based here in England and right from the start, she was there to answer our million-and-one questions and nothing was too much for her to sort, even when adding extra bits on just a couple of weeks before the wedding date. She also offered in some of her own ideas which we absolutely loved and helped to make our day even more special, for example for our Prosecco tower, she suggested having fountain sparklers at this point which truly made a magical moment on our special day! Communication was fantastic, emails were answered promptly and our video calls with Maria also helped to set plans in place.
During our wedding day, we had Serena who coordinated our wedding out in Italy, along with Nico from the venue itself. Both were absolutely incredible - Serena could tell that we were nervous about how everything would come together and she went out of her way to make sure we were happy with everything and couldn’t have been anymore attentive on the day.
Every tiny little detail of our wedding day was planned to perfection - the table decor was just stunning, the flowers matched our ‘sunset colour’ theme perfectly and our vision that we sent in photos truly came to life!!
If you are thinking of having your wedding abroad, we couldn’t recommend Ionian weddings enough - they are just FANTASTIC and we feel so lucky to have had Maria, Serena and all the team in helping to make our wedding day the best day of our lives! Thank you!!

Booking with Ionian Weddings was the best decision for our dream European summer wedding! Our day was perfect, the whole experience was amazing!! We have received the most seamless support, from the planning process with the UK team (Rachel), to the onsite coordination expert (Liz). Every choice provided by Ionian was top quality, including our fairytale venue (Crete exclusive garden), photographer and videographer.

We recently had our wedding in the Panoramic Garden Package in Portugal and we have been blown away with the experience. Communication from the beginning was great when organising the initial bits with Lucy and the specific planning later on with Emma was excellent. WOW! What a fantastic experience - we first enquired with Ionian Weddings back in June 2023. From the first Enquiry to being assigned with a wedding planner (Emma) we were carefully taken through the process. Our 'simple' wedding in Italy did end up being rather more exciting but we wouldn't have changed a thing. Once we arrived in Italy our most wonderful (on the ground planner) Viola checked every detail and was just so lovely! On the day everything was more than perfect, the venue (The Cloisters) was set out beautifully, it is open to the public but everyone was respectful and to be honest we didn't notice and it really is all part of being in Italy. The photographer (Umberto) and the Filmographer (Michaela) met with us and did a great job - we booked the video rather last min but it's one of our favourite things - a great memory to keep. The reception was beautiful; the team are a family and are so great - everything was considered. The table settings and decorations were perfect. We can honestly say we had the most amazing day with our family and friends. If you're in any doubt - don't be -  I would recommend Ionian Weddings for any of my friends.

Ionian weddings have been absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t recommend them enough. From start to finish they hold your hand throughout the whole process to ensure your wedding is exactly what you want. We had a perfect day (and week) staying in our Villa in Tuscany. If we could give 10 stars it still wouldn't be enough. Our final day was amazing, every last detail catered to, to perfection. From the very start of our journey with Helen in the UK, providing thorough information, guiding us step by step and reassuring us about things like the legal documents side of things (which all went so smoothly), to our coordinator Cheradie (now lovingly known as Celery) in Cyprus, who was so personable, put us at ease and made us feel like we were the only wedding couple she was dealing with even though that wasn't the case. All the finer details were catered for and honestly it couldn't have been any better. The venue was out of this world. It can be quite daunting putting your trust in a company to organise your wedding if you've never actually been and seen it but wow, the Cyprus Private beach is like looking at an airbrushed cut out of a magazine, idyllic, rustic, beautiful blue and turquoise waters, honestly breath taking and the villas so clean and have everything you need including more great staff going above and beyond, making sure everything was just right, having a laugh with us like we were old friends and even bringing us some home made Halloumi to try. I could write pages and pages here but I shall finish now to just say thank you. Thank you to every single person involved in making our day so much better than we could have imagined and anyone reading this, do not hesitate in getting yours booked here.

We are due to fly to Skiathos on Wednesday and up until now Emma has been absolutely fantastic! She has been so attentive to any questions we have, very quick replies and always finds the answers. Could not recommend and thank Emma enough for all of her help. Cannot wait to have our big day in Skiathos next week. Thanks Emma!

When I originally booked Lindsay dealt with me and she was a huge help , Patricia too! Emma soon took over and was an absolute star! Always had super prompt replies & was so helpful was nothing she couldn’t do for me.

I had a lovely wedding planner in Greece, Dimitra she was a star!! Made me feel so at ease and made my day just how I planned it, she was absolutely amazing 1000 out of 10! Aswell as owner Dimitra, they were all amazing , food and drink was fabulous.
Also had a DJ & photographer in our package and just amazing!

WOW. My husband decided he wanted an abroad wedding... I didn't know where to even begin. Ionian Weddings are incredible, the entire team are so hands on guiding you through every step.

We were partnered with Rachel for our Santorini Wedding at Paradise Terrace. She is absolutely brilliant. Contactable via email and phone. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Her attention to detail and giving us plenty of time to make decisions. She was transparent, honest and so helpful.

When we arrived in Santorini we were then partnered with their local wedding planning Giannis, again, bubbly, friendly, and his attention to detail was incredible. The day went without a hitch. He went through every detail with us 2 days before our wedding at a face 2 face meeting at the venue. How he brought Rachel and I's planning to life.. breathtaking !!!.

Our wedding planner, Rachel, was absolutely amazing! She made our whole experience so much easier, with very little stress. Thank you Rachel for helping make our day exactly as we imagined it to be, incredibly special. I would highly recommend Ionian weddings if you’re looking at an abroad wedding. They take all the stress away of planning a wedding, allowing you to relax and enjoy the full experience.

We just want to let you know we had an excellent day and the venue was even better than we had ever imagined. Everyone loved the barman who helped us party the night away! The food was a hit as well!
We couldn't thank the team enough and Jan who dealt with us over there went above and beyond and we are more than grateful for everything she done for us!
Photo Papis were excellent too and our pictures and videos are amazing! We just wish we could do the day all over again.
