After a very stressful and unpredictable year, Luke and I were feeling very anxious and worried about our upcoming dream wedding in Rhodes. We booked our wedding with Ionian weddings in January 2021, just before the pandemic and got married this month (August 2021), during the pandemic. We were made to feel welcome and special right from the start.

Due to the pandemic we weren’t able to see our wedding venue until 8 months after we booked it, but we were sent lots of photos and information about the venue which made us feel we had definitely made the right decision. We originally invited 30 guests but due to Covid-19, we had 15 guests attend our wedding. This did not matter as we still had the perfect day we had both dreamed of. We met Michele and Beverly a few days before our wedding day and they were both extremely helpful and went through all the details of the day and answered any questions we had. Michele was just a text or phone call away between our pre wedding meeting and the wedding day. They made us feel more relaxed and ready for our wedding day. The day itself ran smoothly and was everything we imagined it would be and more. On the day, Michelle and Alex were amazing, talking to myself, Luke and our guests through all the next steps and what we had to do and where we had to go. We could not be more grateful for your help and support. Thank you.

I honestly believe the violinist was one of the highlights I’ll remember from our wedding day. We were unsure at first whether to pay for a violinist, but we definitely made the right decision. Our ceremony would not have been the same without it. It was perfect and the emotion it brought to the ceremony was unbelievable. He had everyone in tears. He was the most talented violinist I have ever seen. Thank you so much. Everyone has been talking about the violin music since the wedding day. If anyone is unsure about an abroad/beach wedding, don’t be afraid. Do it! We have dreamt of this wedding since we were little and it was everything we dreamed of and more.
