We had the most amazing wedding day in Sorrento at Villa Fondi and Sky Bar, everything was absolutely perfect and thanks to Ionian Weddings the planning process was stress-free and enjoyable. Lizzie was very friendly and helpful in answering all queries we had. Rosaria was great both when we visited last September to view the venues we had booked and once here for the actual wedding - really knows her stuff, reassured us about how the day would run and very quickly fixed an issue that we had with our wedding certificate. Wow where to start?? I honestly couldn't recommend Ionian weddings enough - so professional as well as making your wedding feel personal to them also! Having decided to marry in Italy we must have searched through dozens of wedding planners & choosing Ionian weddings was the best decision we made. Our original planner was always on the end of the phone or email answering any questions and talking us through ideas and plans, she then sadly left the company but promised us we'd be in good hands & how correct she was! We were introduced to Giuliana who so was fantastic with helping ensure our final details were all in place, all of my queries were always promptly answered even during busy peak 'wedding season' nothing was ever too much trouble. Once in Italy our local planner Rosaria was just fabulous, so friendly & made us feel completely at ease whilst remaining professional. She made sure our special day went without a single blip & all of our guests spoke about how brilliant she was. So many people commented on how calm i was on the morning of the wedding & it was all due to knowing Ionian weddings had everything ready & in place....such a lovely feeling! Without Ionian Weddings our dream wedding would never have been possible so thank you to all of the staff for all of your hard work, i felt like a true princess...... happy ever after x

What can I say... there was nothing too big or too small for Ionian to get their heads around for our special day. Everything from dietary requirements for the wedding meal for our guests to the transport arrangements were all sorted through Ionian. The pre-wedding meeting at our venues in destination just simply topped off the service! The wedding co-ordinator could not do enough for us and the team at our reception venue where so welcoming and accommodating to a bride who'd packed everything but the kitchen sink in a suitcase for decorations at the venue. Our expectations and some were met and in fact we didn't need some of these decorations as the venue was simply beautiful. The photos we saw of it simply does not do it justice! All in all we would highly recommend to a couple now planning their very special day to book with Ionian!

Thank you so much Katy and Ionian Weddings for the best day ever, although a small wedding of 24 family and friends, everyone commented on the best wedding ever. Even our grandchildren! We had the most perfect day, as an older bride who had done it before and I had waited 20 years and it was a wonderful day, everyone treated us as if we were the most important wedding they had ever done. The drivers, hair stylists, makeup artist, venue staff and Ionian staff and Sue the coordinator who was prepared for anything including my dress zip breaking! Ionian Weddings organised everything so well and there was just nothing for us to worry about or do ourselves. All of our questions were answered straight away and there was no stone left unturned on the day of the wedding. Anna was fantastic every step of the way, all of our e-mails were responded to very quickly and every question was answered with all the information we could have needed. Veronica was just amazing, she kept us calm and organised everything in Italy so well. On the day of the wedding she was there every step of the way, organising the groom and guests and making sure the day went smoothly - we are so grateful that she was there. We could not have hoped for more, the setting, food and drink, the extras and the support were amazing. The Cloisters is the most beautiful setting for a ceremony and the Hidden Hillside Gem was just breathtaking, the photos do not do this venue justice, with views over Capri and a reception tailored exactly to our personal requirements. The team at the Hidden Hillside were incredible and we really can't recommend the venue enough! Thank you so much to the team at Ionian, both UK and Italy - for everything you did to make our day so special.

The first e-mail I received was so friendly and helpful I knew straight away I wanted them to help me plan our dream wedding. They made everything so stress free and were on top of everything. I would recommend our castaway island for anyone getting married - it's a breath taking location if you want a very relaxed beach wedding with your nearest and dearest. George our wedding coordinator in Skiathos was lovely, he put our minds at ease, was very professional and kept us updated. His responses were really quick and he was very easy to get on with, We asked if he could help with a pre-wedding drink and this was set up within minutes! Kefalonia

Me and my fiance Danny had been planning our wedding for 18 months, but within weeks of being engaged I found Ionian Weddings and knew they were the company for us! Very personable and not pushy, and no question was ever too much trouble. My wedding coordinator Helen left Ionian after a few months and at that point I was a bit nervous about who might be taking over our wedding but oh my goodness Anna was absolutely AMAZING!! After finding our perfect wedding on the stunning island of Kefalonia we decided to go and see it in person! Whilst we were there we met up with Dimitra our Greek coordinator who took us up to the gorgeous little chapel in Asos hidden away in pine trees (a real gem) and then to the taverna where we would be having our wedding reception to meet with the owner of the taverna who was so lovely and gave up time to sit with us and discuss ideas, this gave us a massive head start in making decisions!

The day before we flew out to Kefalonia I received a call from Anna who wanted to wish us luck, you really do start to feel like friends after all that time and planning together! It was a lovely touch! Fast forward 1 year on and we are now in Greece! Dimitra and Athina both came to our hotel to talk through the finer details the day before the wedding and I had no worries at all, these amazing ladies had it all under control! So then it’s our wedding day Monday 4th June 2018...the best day of our lives! We knew that it would be something special but it was better than we could ever have imagined, the most perfect day we will never forget! Our guests cannot get over how magical it all was.

We are so blown away with how smoothly everything went and we must send massive THANK YOU’s to so many people including Anna our UK coordinator, Dimitra and Athina our Greek coordinators, my super talented hairdresser, and my makeup artist with her fantastic make up skills, the team at the taverna, and the registrar who was amazing and married us on his own wedding anniversary!! Our DJ had the party going all night long! We will never forget the moment he played splash splash when some of the guests jumped in the harbour for a swim! Right up until collecting our wedding certificates and even coming home we have been treated like the only couple to have ever been married. To top it off we received our absolutely stunning photos from our photographer, they are out of this world, someone even said ‘it looks like something out of a wedding magazine’! Others have said ‘this is the BEST wedding they have ever been to’!

We couldn’t be any happier and know for sure this wedding will be talked about for many many years to come! Ionian weddings you have been sensational!

Our wedding day was just perfect. George and the team at Kassandra Bay couldn't have made it anymore perfect - the venue, the scenery, the food, cake, flowers, violinist, DJ, decorations, everything was just so perfect. Kassandra Bay made us feel so special. They went above and beyond to make our day the perfect day. We made so many memories we will treasure for ever and it really confirmed to us, that getting married abroad was the right thing to do! I want to do it all over again, thank you everyone.

We had a truly magical wedding day. The venue was spectacular, with views to die for. The service itself was beautifully presented and brought a tear to many an eye. The reception at the taverna was brilliant, with the most gorgeous tasting traditional Greek dishes and a great party to follow! Everyone involved in making the day happen were amazing. Athina our local coordinator was fabulous. She was great with organising everybody (which was quite a task with our friends), she was very easy to get along with. I can't recommend her highly enough! We could not have wished for a better day. The worst part is not being able to do it again! How long do we have to wait before we can renew our vows. . . ? Our Italian based Ionian planner was fantastic. I'm a very organised person, and it is very hard for me to feel calm about things going to plan; however Rosaria met our expectations and then some. She was warm and knowledgeable, and she has delivered everything with absolute attention to detail. This meant that on the wedding day I didn't have to lead or prompt a single thing, that was fantastic! I would also highly recommend our photographer Michaela. She was the best decision we've made (a last minute one) and we're so thrilled with the photos - they're an incredible momentum of what was an amazing day.

The meeting we had with him prior to the wedding was so thorough and made us confident that our wedding day would go without a hitch. We really had the BEST day ever!!

We had THE BEST day of our lives on the 29th May 2018. The venue was stunning, the catering was delicious and the DJ and his son were just brilliant. Our wedding coordinator was very very attentive and excellent on the day, and she went out of her way to assist my guests on the night.

We would like to thank Anna in the UK and Sofia and her local team in Santorini for arranging our perfect wedding day - everything was great and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the first meeting with Anna to the last we felt very assured that all the details of the wedding would be taken care of as we wanted them. Also the team in Santorini was so great, nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome at the pre-wedding meeting.
