There was never any question that we wanted to get married abroad in a relaxed beach setting but once we started the planning process found that there was such a huge amount of confusing information online about where to get married, venues, locations, legalities, it is so hard to know where to begin. Once we decided on our destination, we did contact a few companies who offered weddings there. We chose Ionian Weddings based on the professional feel, the friendly professional communication we received and the package offered which most suited our requirements. I couldn’t be happier that we chose them. Booking a wedding abroad with little knowledge of the area or logistics is admittedly daunting but I can honestly say Ionian Weddings have made the experience easy, fun and as stress free as wedding planning can get! We made the decision not to see the venues before the day and were met with the most incredible surprise on arrival to both venues of how incredibly beautiful they were, the photos don’t do them justice! Everything was done exactly as we’d asked, or better! I don’t feel like we’ve had to compromise on anything, and from the planning within the UK, pre-wedding preparations in Zayknthos and even on the day and anything we’ve needed following the wedding, our queries have been answered, any issues dealt with, anything we’ve needed was never too much trouble! I can honestly say we couldn’t recommend Ionian Weddings enough if you’re planning a wedding abroad and can thoroughly recommend Cameo Island and Sunrise Lounge as venues. Thank you for all of your hard work in creating our vision, answering our many queries and making our dreams come true, thank you Ionian Weddings for organising the wedding we’d always dreamed of but honestly couldn’t have done without you!
