Sorrento & The Amalfi Coast
We chose to get married in Sorrento, Italy as we love Italy. Some of my family who are sadly no longer with us are from that area so we thought we would feel a sense of closeness getting married in their home region. The Sorrento Cloisters is so rustic and typically Italian looking. Absolutely beautiful location. With a fantastic violinist throughout the ceremony, beautiful flowers, perfect blue sky and a wonderful atmosphere with the Cloisters being open to the public. The reception venue was absolutely beautiful, with a different feel. Quite modern with white and blue outside decor. But the view took our breath away. Sitting on the terrace, overlooking the Island of Capri whilst eating the most delicious food…we could not have asked for more. The whole planning process with the staff at Ionian Weddings was so enjoyable. There was no stress, no worries, no concerns. Every question we had was answered quickly. All the paperwork was simple and easy to complete. All the staff we had contact with were absolutely amazing. With a special mention to Veronica and the local co-ordinator in Sorrento. Thank you so much for making our day more perfect than we would have ever imagined. We couldn’t have asked for more. There is nothing we would change. If any of my friends consider getting married abroad, I would absolutely recommend Ionian Weddings!
